Condition grades
What each grade means
Every grade we sell is wind and watertight. The difference is how it looks and how long it has been in service.
Refurbished
A used container that has been repaired where needed and repainted. Tidy appearance at a lower price than one-trip.
Used, wind and watertight
Ex-shipping containers with dents, surface rust and old markings, but sound and dry inside. Ideal for farms and sites.
Before delivery
Getting your site ready
A little preparation makes delivery quick and keeps the container sound for years.
- Firm, level ground. Concrete, hardcore, paving slabs or railway sleepers under each corner all work well.
- Room for a large lorry to reach the spot, with no low cables or branches overhead.
- Space at the door end to open both doors fully.
- Permission from the landowner, and planning advice if it will stay on a residential driveway long term.
